Municipalities release orientation update on community issues
A joint update from Ingersoll, South-West Oxford, Zorra and Oxford County on key community issues

Ingersoll, South-West Oxford, Zorra and the County of Oxford are releasing a presentation from an orientation session last week intended to update Councils and managers on three high-priority community issues:

  • Ingersoll drinking water
  • The Beachville area air-shed
  • Walker Environmental Group’s Southwestern landfill proposal

Elected officials and staff members at the orientation session noted that the information presented would be of strong interest to the community and should be shared. The four municipalities also committed to exploring the possibility of holding a public information meeting in early 2015 to provide in-person updates from municipal managers and the municipalities’ legal representative for the Southwestern landfill proposal.
