COVID-19 Media update: Oxford County's Waste Management Facility set to reopen on May 19

The facility will reopen for residential and commercial use.

The Oxford County Waste Management Facility in Salford is set to resume regular business hours for residential and commercial users beginning Tuesday, May 19, 2020.

For the safety of all visitors and staff, the County asks that customers avoid making non-essential trips. Customers making essential trips to the facility may experience delays, as the number of vehicles allowed in at one time will be limited. Visitors to the facility will be required to follow provincial health guidelines for physical distancing. This means staff and other site users must stay at least 2 metres / 6 feet apart while onsite and are encouraged to follow proper handwashing/sanitization practices before and after their visits.

Customers should also note that contactless payment methods like debit and credit are preferred over cash payment at this time.

Customers are reminded not to visit the facility if they are sick or displaying symptoms of COVID-19.
