Garbage and recycling collection delays in Ingersoll (May 6)

If your garbage and recycling wasn't picked up Tuesday in Ingersoll, please put it out again on May 6

Oxford County is advising residents of the Town of Ingersoll that some garbage and recycling pick-ups scheduled for Tuesday, May 5 will take place on Wednesday, May 6 instead.

Oxford County is experiencing delays in its first week of collection under a new service contract as waste collectors operate routes for the first time. Ingersoll routes from May 5 to be collected on May 6 include:

  • South of Bell Street, North of Victoria Street, East of Thames Street and West of Ingersoll Street North
  • Oxford Street south of Ann Street, Dufferin Street and Cottage Street
  • Rossiter Road, Cornish Crescent, McMillian Court and Winders Trail

Residents living in these areas whose garbage and recycling were not collected should place their materials out again on May 6. To report a missed pick up, please call 1-800-755-0394.

Delays may be experienced in other communities this week: please check www.wasteline.ca for collection updates or follow Oxford County on Facebook or Twitter. Oxford County thanks residents for their patience during this change-over.
