COVID-19 Update: Visitor restrictions at Woodingford Lodge

Sites in Woodstock, Ingersoll and Tillsonburg are now closed to all but essential visitors

By provincial directive, all three sites of Woodingford Lodge, and all long-term care homes in Ontario, are now closed to all but essential visitors to ensure a safe and secure environment for residents.

The Ministry of Long-term Care is identifying essential visitors as those who have a resident who is end of life or very ill, or a parent/guardian of an ill child or youth in a live-in treatment setting. These visitors will continue to be actively screened into these settings. Ministry officials will re-evaluate this measure in the coming weeks to ensure consistency with enhanced public health measures.

Woodingford Lodge has communicated this information to residents and their families. Visit www.oxfordcounty.ca/woodingford for current information about Woodingford’s COVID-19 response.
