Central Public School partners with Active & Safe Routes to School for neighbourhood walkabout

Active & Safe Routes to School teamed up with Central Public School to hold a neighbourhood walkabout for parents, students and community stakeholders to assess real and perceived neighbourhood risks to active transportation. The walkabout consisted of a short walk on a designated route based on areas of concern identified through family and youth surveys, followed by a debrief to help Central's School Travel Plan committee develop an action plan to improve active transportation.
