Statistics Canada reports that Oxford County has one of the highest proportion of residents age 50 years and older compared to the rest of the province.

Taking care of yourself is important at any age. Just like all other populations, adults over the age of 50 can have unique health needs and may want information that is taylored to suit their age group.

What's new

The Oxford Master Aging Plan is a partnership between seniors and agencies from across the County, including seniors centres, community support services, health services, residential care facilities and others. The project officially launched in July 2011 with a $41,000 grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) and is sponsored by the United Way of Oxford.
