NEW: Is your head rest safely positioned?
- Did you know that proper positioning of your head rest decreases the risk of a severe whiplash in the event of a crash?
- Top of the head rest should be at least at the top of your head, preferably higher, and less than 6 cm (2 ⅓ inches) from the top of the head.
- The distance between your head and the head rest should be 2 – 8 cm (¾ - 3¼) inches, preferably 2 – 5 cm (¾ - 2 inches). (less is better).
