**Please Note: The Oxford County Archives is be open by appointment only. Appointments must be booked at least 48 hours ahead of time and are limited to one researcher per appointment OR researchers from the same household. Public health measures will be in place including mandatory face coverings and screening for COVID-19 symptoms upon entry. If you would like to book an appointment for your visit or would like to book educational programming for your classroom please contact Archives staff for more information.

Monday to Wednesday: 10:00 am to 4:00pm.

The Oxford County Archives is closed weekends and statutory holidays.


Accessibility information


  • The Archives has three parking lots with designated accessible parking space including the lots off of Buller Street, Graham Street and Light Street.


  • The Archives’ accessible entrance can be accessed from the parking lot off of Buller Street at the back of the building.
  • Accessible pathway from the parking lot to entrance with access ramp to door.


  • A lift is available which allows access to the second floor where the Archives is located.
  • Accessible washroom located on the second floor.
  • Please ask staff for assistance to access the lift.


Please be aware that parking off of Light Street and Buller Street are employee parking only. To ensure that you do not receive a parking ticket, please park in the lots off of Graham Street or use street parking where available.
