Dental and oral health

Dental and oral health

Roughly one third of Oxford County residents are without dental benefits. For some families, it can be a struggle to pay for basic dental care or even emergency dental care for children.

Help is available. Community Dental Services works to improve the oral health of all Oxford County residents.

How we can help:

Oral Health Services works to improve the oral health of all Oxford County residents by:
  • Providing preventative services (teeth cleaning, scaling, polishing, fluoride, sealants, oral hygiene instruction) at our Public Health clinic for all ages
  • Providing basic dental care to children 17 years under the new Healthy Smiles Ontario program
  • Mobile dental clinics available for those living in the Tillsonburg area who cannot travel to Woodstock

Free Dental Care For Children - Healthy Smiles Ontario

Healthy Smiles Ontario is a government-funded program that provides free dental care for children and youth 17 years old and under from low-income households. This dental program provides free preventative, routine and emergency dental services.
