Source Water Protection

The Ontario Government has passed the Clean Water Act to protect the sources of municipal drinking water supplies throughout Ontario.

This will take place through the development of source water protection plans by two regional Source Protection committees: 

Lake Erie Source Protection Region (Grand River, Long Point, Catfish Creek & Kettle Creek Conservation Authorities)

Catfish Creek Assessment Report  
Long Point Region Assessment Report 
Grand River Assessment Report

 

Thames, Sydenham & Region Source Protection (Upper Thames, Lower Thames & St. Clair Conservation Authorities).

Technical Studies - Lake Erie & Thames-Sydenham Regions
